 Some customers come to us and know what they want and need; however, if you are not quite sure, we have Engineers at your disposal that have experience working with a variety of materials, shapes, and sizes. Therefore, their experience will be applied for a suggested Method of Manufacturing (M.O.M.) and be there to collaborate with your team. You can rest assured that all aspects of a project will be investigated, ensure Lean Manufacturing Practices are applied, and approved by you before a formal quote is sent. 

JGM Manufacturing Project Planning

Here at JGM Manufacturing do a thorough job to ensure our customer's receive what they ask for --we ensure this by completing a through process of project planning. A typical project plan entails will include:

Step 1: Engineering Review

• Define project requirements (material requirements, specifications and standards).

• Review drawing & models to determine if there are any stack-up issues and inconsistencies.

• Develop M.O.M..

• Develop B.O.M..

Step 2: Quality Review​

• Determine customer's quality requirements (CoC, Material/Process Certs., FAI, etc.).

• Determine key characteristics.

• Creates in-process & Final Inspection paperwork.

• Control and approve drawings for production.

Step 3: Team Review​

• Supply Chain, Quality, Production, and Engineering meet and go over the following:

  • Key Characteristics ​

  • Material Specifications

  • Supplier/Subcontractor quotes 

  • Processing Instructions

• Approve Part​

Step 4: Production​

• Start Production.
